Laser cutting is the use of focused high power density laser beam irradiation of the workpiece, so that the irradiated material quickly melting, vaporization, ablation or reach the ignition point, at the same time with the coaxial high-speed airflow and light beam blowing molten material, so as to achieve the workpiece cut. Laser cutting is one of the thermal cutting methods.
The use of high power density laser beam irradiation is cut material, so that the material is quickly heated to vaporization temperature, evaporation formed holes, with the movement of the light beam on the material, the hole continuously formed a very narrow width (such as about 0.1mm) slit, complete the cutting of the material.
For stainless steel laser cutting,our factory choose laser melting cutting.When laser melting cutting, the metal material is melted by laser heating, and then non-oxidizing gas (Ar, He, N, etc.) is blown through the coaxial nozzle with the beam, relying on the strong pressure of the gas to discharge liquid metal, forming an incision. Laser melting cutting does not require complete vaporization of the metal, requiring only 1/10 of the energy of the vaporization cutting.
